Devices

The Devices page allows you to manage all devices that receive notifications from Notifery and configure how each device delivers them.

Each device can receive incoming events in one of four modes, configured in Settings:

  • Push & toast (default) — Both in-app toasts and system push notifications
  • Toast only — In-app toasts only; no browser permission required
  • Push only — System push notifications only; no in-app popups
  • None — No notifications on this device

When you visit the Devices page, you’ll see:

  • A list of all active devices registered to receive push notifications
  • Options to enable push notifications on your current device (if not already enabled)
  • Controls to remove devices that should no longer receive notifications

The top section of the page shows the status of your current device:

  • If your current device is already registered to receive push notifications, it will be marked as “Current device” in the list
  • If your current device is not registered, you’ll see an option to “Enable” push notifications

To enable push notifications on a new device:

  1. Click the “Enable” button if your current device isn’t registered
  2. When prompted by your browser, allow notifications
  3. The device will be registered with a unique device ID and begin receiving push notifications

Each registered device appears with:

  • A unique device ID
  • The date and time it was registered
  • A “Current device” badge (if applicable)
  • A “Remove” button to unregister the device

To stop a device from receiving notifications:

  1. Find the device in the list
  2. Click the “Remove” button
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted

When you remove a device:

  • The device will immediately stop receiving push notifications
  • In-app toasts will continue to appear while the app is open (unless notification mode is set to “None”)
  • If you remove your current device, you’ll need to re-enable push notifications if you want to receive them again
